Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Update 6 April 2020

As coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact the world, our priority is to protect and support our employees and the customers we serve. We remain committed to continuing our operations across our global footprint whilst supporting Governments worldwide and their response to COVID-19.

Scapa is committed to providing a safe environment for its employees.

We are enabling those employees who can effectively perform their roles remotely to work from home. This reduces the risk of the virus spreading throughout the workforce and helps to protect the welfare of those still working on our sites. We are taking additional precautions to protect those who continue to operate from the sites. This includes increased cleaning and restricted access for visitors, and the availability of appropriate personal protective equipment.

Our sites have implemented measures for social distancing, supporting official guidance on ways to minimise personal contact and our employees are working in new ways to help protect one another and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We will continue to monitor our supply chain and maintain a regular dialogue with customers adapting our operations as needed in response to any fluctuations in demand.

As long as it remains safe to do so, we will continue to manufacture, ensuring product availability and the continuation of distribution to meet the needs of our customers globally whose essential operations rely on our products.

We will continue to take precautionary measures in response to Governments advice and monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19 on an ongoing basis, taking any actions necessary to ensure the well-being of our employees and customers.
